Last month on the Pointe Realty Group blog, we introduced you to Paul Brownie and Stephanie Gilmore. (Check out the feature here if you missed it the first time around.) Today, we’re introducing you to two more of our teammates – Kim Crowley and Alan McGee!
Meet Kim Crowley
Kim has been working in real-estate for six years. She grew up in New York and moved to Myrtle Beach in 1993. In 2007, she left the beach for Garner.
Kim has been married for 21 years to her husband, Michael, a firefighter and paramedic. They have three children, Jimmy – 20, Rebecca – 18, and Stephen – 14. All of her children have gone to school in Garner so she knows a lot about the Wake County School System.
Kim and her family love animals. They have one dog and are planning on getting another.
Kim has a lot of experience with first-time home buyers, VA loans, and foreclosed homes. She has a lot of experience with helping first responders buy and sell homes and understands that they have different needs than other home buyers.
Kim loves working with first time home buyers and helping clients find the home of their dreams. She is very honest and will let clients know if she feels a home is not right for them even if it means a smaller commission for herself. Her priority is always her clients.
Meet Alan McGee
Alan was born in Greenville S.C. but has lived in the Durham/Raleigh area since 1968. After a long career with FEDEX he decided to take his love of working with people and his knowledge of the triangle area to pursue a career in real estate. Alan began his residential real estate career in August of 1997 with a large Raleigh general brokerage firm. He worked with Richard Gephart and Martin Hill during the early years of his real estate career and officially joined Gephart Hill Properties in 2004 as a buyer/seller agent. He is a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker and a member of the National Association of Realtors. Alan lives in Raleigh with his wife Melba. They have one daughter who is married and lives in Creedmoor, North Carolina.
Alan enjoys golf but his true passion is being a baseball umpire. Alan became a high school umpire in the mid 1980’s and has been calling college ball since Spring of 2000. Alan has always had an interest in teaching the baseball basics. He has volunteered as an assistant coach and a personal baseball trainer helping kids develop their baseball skills. In 2008 he received the Distinguished Service Award from the Capital Area Baseball Umpires Association.
